It has been a whirlwind of sessions lately and I’m loving being able to get back to work. Last week I traveled over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for Kayla and Parker’s engagement session at Terrapin Nature Park. I may have woke up at 4:00 am for this sunrise session, but it was so worth it! The beach was absolutely beautiful and there was no one around. I’m so glad we decided to do a morning session because it was extremely peaceful and we had the chance to talk without any distractions. We even got our morning workout in walking miles along the beach and in the nature grounds at Terrapin.

Not only did Kayla and Parker show up with big smiles and energy, but they were so much fun and had such positive spirits. Is there anything better than being around warm, engaging souls? These two met in college at James Madison University, but did not actually get together for a date until about 2 years later.  After they met up, the rest was history!

Parker proposed to Kayla back in October in Charlottesville, VA at sunrise and they will be tying the knot next Spring! I am so excited for their wedding in 2021! These two are getting married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and I know it will be so beautiful. I’m already excited for sunset photos on the bay with these two in wedding attire.

Another awesome thing about these two? They showed up with their boat to spend the rest of the day on the water with their family! I’m already working on convincing my husband on a lake house, but now I’m going to be adding a boat into the mix. Thank you so much for the best morning, Kayla & Parker!
