I’ve been dying to meet Katelyn and Michael for what feels like ages. Thankfully I was finally able to do so last week at Greenbrier for their engagement session! I feel like I already knew Katelyn; we both have very similar personalities and like a ton of the same things. For instance, yesterday we were messaging each other on Instagram because we both had planned to make homemade pesto! Such a fun and small world. We’ve been messaging each other since last year.  She has such a positive spirit to her. Meeting her and Michael in person did not disappoint. They are both truly sweet, loving, funny and full of great ideas.

Our Saturday evening together was spent at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, Maryland. I had so much fun venturing around the parks woods and waterfront areas. There were a ton of people around when we arrived, but we ended up pretty much closing the park from talking so long. We were pretty worried that the heat wave that passed through was going to make the day extremely hot. But, we got extremely lucky with some mild weather and a slight breeze!

To say I’m excited for their wedding would be an understatement. Not only is their venue absolutely gorgeous, (hello Springfield Manor!) but they are using Peachy Keen Events and Blooming Occasions as vendors (dream team)!  I can only imagine how gorgeous they both will look with the views in the fields with rentals and florals galore. Plus, it is during the Fall and who does not LOVE those colors? AH!

I loved, loved, loved my time with Katelyn and Michael and just adore these photos that I was able to capture with them in nature being themselves. Their October wedding cannot get here fast enough!
