Last week I ventured up to Cowan’s Gap to capture some engagement photos for Nicole and Jake. These two are just the sweetest and so is their adorable and loving pup! I had so much fun in the sand and waterfront laughing and chatting with them both. The evening was filled with warmth, breeze and lots of puppy snuggles. Oh, and Nicole’s gorgeous hair! I mean really… it is the definition of goals.

What I love most about these two is their commitment and detail to one another. Jake planned the most perfect proposal for his future bride to be. Back in December Jake got down on one knee in central park NYC – one of their favorite destination spots together. What Nicole didn’t know was that their family and friends were watching from a distance (and Facetime!) on a bridge and were able to witness the whole thing. Jake had gotten this ring all on his own and it is just a stunner. I love, love the design and sparkle. Jake had everything planned out and executed oh-so-perfectly.

As the evening winded down on this warm June night, we were blessed with the most gorgeous sunset at Cowan’s Gap. Full of pinks, blues, purples, wispy clouds and mountain views. It was stunning and looked straight out of a magazine. We couldn’t believe our eyes. I was so happy to capture these portraits for Nicole and Jacob and hope they love them as much as I do!
