It’s been such a breath of fresh air to get back behind my camera as the days are getting longer and warmer. I met up with Allie and Chris – one of my 2022 couples this past weekend for their downtown Lancaster engagement session! We had so much fun exploring around town. The weather was a little chilly and windy, but Allie took it like a champ! Chris kept her warm as we made our way around to the different brick buildings and backdrops. Her parents were even able to watch as they enjoyed a lunch downtown 🙂

I love the story of how these two met and you could definitely say it was fate. They were both living and working in St. Louis when they saw each other at the same gym a lot. After a year they finally went out on their first date. And you know what they say – the rest is history! But, the best part? Both of them are actually FROM Pennsylvania! They just happened to meet at the same location and the same time. See? Fate. Now they live in Charlotte, NC as they are preparing for their wedding vows.

They are getting married next year at Box Hill Mansion which is one of my favorite venues! I cannot wait to go back there and capture these two in the beautiful gardens as well as see their new venue space.  Enjoy some of my favorites from their Lancaster engagement session below!
