My 2021 wedding season began last Saturday and I can’t be more ecstatic about it! With a world of unknowns last year, it felt SO good to be out there shooting Michele and Mitchell’s wedding day at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA. We were blessed with the most amazing weather for March – breezy, with a mix of clouds and sun all day.
This day was a long time coming for these two as they shared vows under chandelier lights and romantic candles surrounded by their closest family members. Although they couldn’t have the big reception they were hoping for, the day was filled with SO much laughter and love. Through the whole day we were all tearing up and laughing. Especially throughout the ceremony as they sealed their marriage with a kiss.
Michele and Mitchell are such genuinely kind hearted people and have the exact families to match. For instance, my favorite part was learning how the families are so tight knit and grew up around each other. It is not everyday you see family members who are so intertwined and supportive.
Michelle’s sister did the amazing florals for the day and I was honored to sit with her and her family and talk about the couple, their lives and everything in between. Similarly, Michelle also runs an amazing side hustle making hand made candles that smell amazing! Undoubtedly this family is talented to the core.
I could gush all day long about how amazing it was to celebrate with these two and how REFRESHING it was to get back out there and capture another marriage. I hope you are having the most amazing time in the Dominican Republic, Mr. and Mrs. Hill!!!
