The day was warm, the laughter was constant and the love was overflowing. When Caitlyn asked me last year to be her photographer for her Caboose Farm Maryland Wedding, I was so honored. You see Caitlyn and Jason are family friends and I knew their day was going to be so much fun and extra special. I always want to give my clients photos they deserve and will cherish, but especially felt the pressure being around so many people I adore. These two made the day such a breeze and I’m so thankful we call them friends.
Some of my favorite parts of the day included dogs being walked down aisles, a remembrance balloon ceremony, family singing and playing music, behind the scenes veil tosses and tearful speeches. The grounds of the Caboose Farm are vast and plentiful. I love the variety it offered with water, mountains, and open fields. It was the perfect backdrop for photos galore. I’m still pinching myself that we received the most gorgeous sunset and were able to sneak away at just the right time. The orange colors reflecting on the water were just stunning. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – always take time for sunset portraits! These portraits will be hanging on your walls for years to come.
Caitlyn & Jason – thank you for trusting me to take these sacred photos. Your wedding day at the Caboose Farm was so full of love and now you’re expecting a little babe to expand your family! May the many blessings of your marriage take you through the rest of your life.
