It is not surprise that 2020 has been a crazy year for everyone. So many plans have been rescheduled, changed, cancelled and more. Weddings are no different and so many brides across the nation are having to think of alternate dates, methods and things changing as each day goes by. However, love prevails and love is not cancelled during this crazy season.

Linda and Kevin were married on Saturday in Frederick on a family friends farm surrounded by their immediate families and in the presence of God and sunshine. The weather was perfect:  breezy, sunny, and full of wispy clouds followed by a cool evening. You would have never known that they made so many last minute changes due to the pandemic because everything was absolutely perfect. Everyone brought a special talent to their day and I think it made it that much more special.  Linda’s sister, Katie is an event planner and transformed the space into pure magic.  Linda’s mom, Cassandra made a gorgeous lemon cake and Kevin brewed all of the beer for the intimate dinner party. Intimate weddings may be my new favorite thing on this planet. The day was so relaxed and calm and everyone was at ease.

To say that I loved my time with Linda and Kevin and their sweet families would be an understatement. My cheeks were sore from smiling and laughing the entire day. This may not have been the big celebration that they had planned for, but it was full of so much love.  Linda and Kevin – Congratulations!! I’m so happy you were both still able to celebrate and it was such an honor to be there with your sweet (and hilarious!) families.
