I was so happy to celebrate wedding number two of the year this past weekend with Alyssa and Dakota for their Lauxmont Farms wedding!
I absolutely adored this venue and setting. The cobblestone area was like being back in England with the grass growing through the stones and the vines growing up the walls. The charming doors to the bar hut and the gorgeous staircase alongside the gorgeous florals really set the tone for Alyssa and Dakota’s big day. And the string lights just added the extra and perfect touch of romance.
These two love birds met back in high school and have big dreams for their future. They are both so driven to achieve whatever they put their mind to. Their favorite hobby to do together is to hang out with their sweet pup, Bailey. 🙂
I loved this day so much because of the rain. Yep – I said I loved it due to the rain. The weather was questionable all day and the threat of rain was very eminent. However, the rain held off until almost the exact moment that Alyssa and Dakota walked into their reception! All of the formal photographs were done and they could really relax and enjoy themselves. They made my job a blast when they were both down to take extra portraits and literally frolic in the rain. We headed off to a gorgeous field on the property and these two really got to soak in (pun intended) their big day. Despite the down pours, I really loved how their extra portrait time photographs turned out! It was such a special way to end a great day for these two.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hershey!
