I’m so excited to be sharing some portraits today from Abbey & Ben’s Greencastle engagement session last week! We met up on a beautiful summer evening with the most stunning sunset. Photographers will tell you that everything revolves around light and its true. We schedule our sessions during “golden hour” and time everything to give you the most flattering light. After having to reschedule once due to rain, I was elated with a glowly evening!
Abbey and Ben reside on the Greencastle Golf Club and we were able to jump on the golf carts and roam around the beautiful grounds. Oh, and their beautiful pup Nash was along with us for the ride and some photos! 🙂 I loved the wide open spaces, fields, greenery and waterfront. Both Abbey and Ben work on the golf course as well and we kept running into all sorts of friends who made the experience even more fun!
I also just love their proposal story. Abbey and Ben went on vacation to St. Thomas and Ben proposed around sunset at a gorgeous waterfront restaurant. Abbey saw her parents as well as Ben’s parents and turned around to Ben on one knee! SO sweet and romantic. These two are so laid back, relaxed and comfortable with each other. I cannot wait to capture more portraits of them this Fall for their October wedding a the Greencastle Golf Club!
