If I had to describe our time in Amsterdam in one word it would be rainy. It poured and poured and poured our entire stay in the Netherlands. We can’t complain though because we had perfect weather for the rest of our Europe trip which was so nice! However, I will say that we both thought the rain took away from our experience and time there and that we would’ve enjoyed it a lot more sans rain. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like unless you count mother nature 😉 We would be soaked after walking a few blocks, went through 3 umbrellas and even threw a pair of shoes in the dumpster. Plus, the rain was COLD!

Due to the rain, we spent a lot of time indoors which gave us a totally fun experience and one we would not have had if the weather was nicer. We met some really awesome world travelers, popped into tons of old pubs and local places and even got to do every “must do” thing on our list. I will also say we had the BEST burger and fries of our life at Geflipt Burger. If you are ever there you MUST go! And get the Geflipt sauce. Soooooo good!

I was most excited to visit the tulip gardens at Keukenhof since we were there at the perfect time. Keukenhof is absolutely gorgeous and a must see! There were tulips for miles and miles and you could spend an entire day there and still miss something. I took the most photos there because I was in awe, but didn’t have my camera too much in Amsterdam because of the severe rain. Enjoy some of my favs OX
