We have been waiting and waiting for a really good snow day to capture Skyler and Kevin’s Greencastle snow engagement portraits. You see – Skyler LOVES the snow! She wanted to hold off during the winter season to see if we would have some white fluff to set the backdrop for their photos. We were amazed when the weather called for a huge snowstorm here in Greencastle, PA on Sunday and Monday. The snowflakes fell and they fell fast totaling around 16 inches!! Talk about a winter wonderland! The snow filled the branches with so much beautiful snow. The vast white everywhere was the perfect scenery to capture some of my favorite snow portraits!
Skyler and Kevin met 7 years ago in our little town of Greencastle, PA. Their relationship grew and grew and they settled on a home together. Kevin proposed to her at the end of last year and get this – it was even in the snow!! It made perfect sense to capture their engagement portraits in the snow and I am really thankful we were blessed with lots and lots of beautiful white gold!
Skyler and Kevin – Thank you so much for romping through HUGE piles of snow in your snow gear! We definitely burned all of our calories for the day hiking up and down hills and through 16 inches of snow to get to different areas for the photos. I’m so excited for their Fall wedding and hope it isn’t as cold as it was this February 🙂
