This Frederick Maryland newborn session was so special! I go way back with Katie’s beautiful family. If you are local, you probably know of Social Graces Events. Katie is the owner and is truly the best of the best. I first connected with her when she was the lead planner at a wedding I was second shooting years ago. I then connected with her sister, Linda to shoot her wedding back in 2020 which turned into a microwedding and then a big celebration in 2021! Needless to say, this family is near and dear to my heart. And they are the sweetest, most welcoming humans.

I was beyond honored (and a little scared if I’m being honest!!) when Katie asked me to be the photographer for her when she was having a baby girl in January 2023.  Of course Katie’s home is a DREAM and was the perfect little setting to capture Miss Charlotte Fiona and her perfect head of hair. Her blush pink nursery is full of monogrammed pillows, watercolor artwork and is such a relaxing environment for a sweet, new baby girl. But, the real icing on the cake for me was big brother Crosby who really stole the show. He loved to tickle and hold Charlotte’s hand and his laughter is just infectious. If only we all could portray his joy in our daily lives.
