I spent the weekend on Kent Island for a double header wedding weekend! First up was Carly and Alex’s Sunset Ballroom Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding! The rain was on and off for the entirety of the day, but was so gracious to give us some breaks to sneak outside for our important photographs. We were elated!

The day began at the Inn where all of the girls were getting their final touch ups done by the hair and makeup team and sharing in laughter and baby snuggles. Everyone was so calm, excited and looked gorgeous. We braved the sprinkle of rain drops for some portraits with the guys before heading over to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for some more photos and a sweet first look with Carly’s Dad.

Their rooftop ceremony was actually their #1 plan and worked out perfectly with the iffy weather. There is just something so special about sharing vows with one another among the waves crashing.

At any given point in the day, you could see Carly and Alex sharing an intimate moment. Whether they were sneaking a kiss, a quick whisper in the ear or Alex reaching for his bride to rub her arm during the ceremony. It was such a sweet sight. Alex also was gushing over his bride all day and would comment on her beauty to anyone and no one.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Baxter!!!
