There’s something magical about photographing engagement sessions by the water and these Kent Island engagement photos are no exception. With the Chesapeake Bay as a backdrop, the setting perfectly reflected Vince and his fiancée’s love story. One that is rooted in faith, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
Abby and Vince’s story began through an online dating app. Their first date was at the Bible Museum and what was supposed to be a casual meet-up turned into a 7-hour adventure. From exploring exhibits to sharing their first kiss, they both walked away knowing this was something truly special. That one date was all it took for them to start building a future together.
Fast forward to the proposal: Vince planned a day trip to St. Michael’s, one of Maryland’s most charming waterfront towns. He led her to a quiet gazebo overlooking the water, got down on one knee, and asked her to spend forever with him. The celebration didn’t end there though; they capped off the day with dinner at one of their favorite Italian restaurants making the night as romantic as the proposal itself.
For their Kent Island engagement photos, the mix of coastal charm, golden light, and natural beauty set the scene for telling their love story in images. These two both love the water and want to end up in Charleston, SC so this was the perfect fit. From soft candid laughs to intimate portraits against the shoreline, every photo highlighted not just their love for each other but also their joy in this exciting season of life.
Kent Island is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions because it offers the perfect balance of serene waterfront views and relaxed, romantic vibes. Vince and Abby’s story proves that when love and faith come together, the result is timeless.
