When couples choose an engagement session that truly reflects who they are, magic happens. Camille and Clay’s Baltimore sailboat session was exactly that. Set against the backdrop of the Inner Harbor, we spent the evening aboard her dad’s sailboat capturing the two of them in their element: laughing, snuggled together on the bow, and soaking in the water views that mean so much to their story.

Camille and Clay first met on Hinge in June 2023. Their very first date was at Lee’s Pint & Shell in Canton and sparks flew quickly. By the second date, Camille was already bold enough to lean in for the first kiss right in the kitchen while cooking dinner. Not long after, Clay found himself on her family’s boat for the Fourth of July fireworks. What she thought might scare him away turned into the perfect evening and her family immediately adored him. From the very beginning, their relationship felt effortless and right.

Clay later planned the most thoughtful proposal at his parents’ shore house on the Potomac River. With rose petals leading to a beautifully decorated deck overlooking the water, he gave Camille a heartfelt speech before asking her to be his forever. A surprise party with their closest family and friends made the celebration even more special.

It only made sense to capture their engagement portraits in Baltimore on a sailboat. The water has always been a big part of their relationship; whether boating with family, riding jet skis, or enjoying sunsets at the shore. Their session was a perfect mix of romance, adventure, and ease, just like the two of them.
