Is this my backyard or just another weekend at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club?! I can’t quite tell after all of the travel over the Bay Bridge this year 🙂 All joking aside – I love shooting on the water and I love celebrating weddings at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The grounds are gorgeous and everyone works hard to ensure that these couples have the very best of days.
Also, let’s talk about their indoor rooftop garden ceremony is perfect for hot or rainy days! It has really come in handy this year with the crazy weather we’ve been running into. Plus I know their guests are thanking them for some extra AC on these super hot August days. I’m so thankful that even with the high threat of thunderstorms and rain this year, we’ve been able to go outside for all of our portraits. This is the sign of a well-planned timeline with your photographer! Lauryn and Eric have SO many bride and groom portraits and they didn’t even do a first look! Keeping the day on time is super important for a lot of reasons, but all of the extra portrait time is amazing. Especially when there are thunder and dark clouds in the sky about to pour down.
Lauryn & Eric rolled with the punches and were such a delight to photograph. They were down for anything and trusted our guidance and communication. I’m so happy for these two and wish them all the very best! XX
