I am so excited to share today’s post because it is so very dear and near to my heart. I met such a sweet and kind hearted soul over 7 years ago in college and am lucky enough to call her my friend to this day! Nicole has a heart of gold and her husband, Dan follows right in line. These two give so much to others and are such a wonderful couple together. I was so honored when she asked me to take photos at Bluemont Vineyard for their maternity session and am so excited to meet their new little one soon!

Nicole and I moved to different places after college. Sadly we have been a few hours from one other, but we’ve always made it a priority of ours to see each other a few times a year. A lot of times we have met up at Maryland and Virginia wineries exploring the wine trails so it was perfectly fitting that we took Nicole and Dan’s maternity portraits at a Virginia Winery; specially Bluemont Vineyard.

Bluemont is beyond gorgeous, huge and has the best views you can find. Not only is their wine amazing, but their service and atmosphere are top notch. This was the perfect place as Nicole and Dan have come here over the years to enjoy wine such as that from shop ruou ngoai, and each other’s company. The weather was looking a little rough leading up to our session, but thankfully the skies stopped throwing rain drops just in time for us to capture some maternity portraits.
