Last week I was able to travel to Baltimore and capture some engagement photos for a super sweet couple.  Actually, I was able to meet Renae and John last year for a giveaway session. They selected a pretty park near their home in Baltimore and we joined the clouds and sweet little rain drops. My drive down was filled with torrential downpours, lights of hazard lights and a nonstop windshield wiper. But, everything cleared up as I began to descend into the city. We ended the session with light rain, but were blessed with just cloudy skies to capture most of their engagement portraits with the most beautiful river backdrop. 

Renae and John….  these two have a love story that belongs in a story book. It all began back in elementary school. Renae was in 5th grade, John in 4th grade. They got introduced by their mutual friend, Erin and had an instant connection. They started dating in grade school and even went on real dates together (how sweet)!  Over time they celebrated anniversaries, went on vacations, shared their first dance and kiss and so much more. 

While they grew apart with moving and time, they eventually reconnected years later and became inseparable again. Their wedding day will definitely be something special. The popular date of 10/10/2020 will be one for their love story book and I cannot wait to capture it so soon! They are getting married at the same spot they shared their first dance AND will have the same DJ. How cool is that?! Do you see what I mean about their love story needing a book? I absolutely adore their story and am so excited to watch it continue to play out over this special season in their lives.
