Watermark Yacht Annapolis Wedding | Kate & Brett
Kate and Brett were supposed to be married in April on the waterfront surrounded by friends and family without a care in the world. Sadly COVID-19 took over their original wedding plans and they were forced to delay their celebrations until June. As their date got closer and closer and restrictions were still in place they decided to look into other options and get creative. Kate and Brett had asked me if I was okay if they decided on a different venue and plan for the day. They then asked me about photographing them on a YACHT for their wedding day. Umm, can you say YES 10 times loud?! I was pumped and was so happy that they took me along for the day because it was perfect.
Mr. and Mrs. Christner got married on June 22, 2020 in downtown Annapolis on board the Catherine Marie by Watemark Journeys. I don’t think there will ever be another Monday that was as epic as this. They truly handled all of the changes up to their wedding day with so much grace, patience and love and deserved such a wonderful day of celebrations.
The day of the wedding was a gorgeous one. Hot, but sunny and breezy all around! The day ended up cooling off and we even encountered a little bit of rain showers right after the ceremony ended. The timing was impeccable and Kate and Brett were able to have everything go off without a hitch. They kissed, toasted and danced the night away as newlyweds among the Sivern River with their closest loved ones.
Their celebration was so romantic and whimsical and just plain COOL. I am now requesting to shoot weddings on Yacht’s all of the time. Kind of joking, but not really. Kate & Brett – Thank you for allowing me to be apart of such an awesome day. I am so happy for you both and am wishing you tons of love and happiness.
