I don’t typically have very many weddings in March, but this year was an exception! My Spring season has been pretty busy and to be honest, I absolutely love it. My year is more spaced out and so I am able to “breathe” in between sessions and weddings. I also love the space because I get a little of at-home time and a little at-work time which fills up my cup. Anyways – this season started Kaitlyn and Mike’s Tidewater Inn Wedding!
This wedding was absolutely beautiful and amazing. On the drive down I saw so many amazing trees in bloom and was truly hoping we would find at least one tree to photograph Kaitlyn and Mike in front of because they were STUNNING. As luck had it – their church backyard was filled with beautiful grounds and the perfect Spring tree. It really tied their whole wedding day together and made for such romantic portraits. Low-lying branches, luscious blooms, and the pop of sunshine were the perfect mix We don’t always need a lot when we photograph and this was a great example of making one backdrop go a LONG way.
