She Said Yes! A Stunning Proposal at Terrapin Nature Park

There’s nothing quite like capturing the pure, emotional magic of a proposal—and last week was no exception! As a Maryland proposal photographer, I had the absolute honor of photographing Andrew and Dari’s surprise proposal at the breathtaking Terrapin Nature Park. With the waves softly crashing in the background and an orange-hued sky painting the scene, it felt like a moment pulled straight out of a dream.

When Andrew dropped to one knee, Dari’s reaction was everything: pure shock, gasps and the biggest smile you can imagine. Moments like these are why I love being a Maryland proposal photographer—every love story is unique, special and full of lots of wide ranges of emotion.

Terrapin Nature Park is one of my favorite hidden gems for photographs on the Eastern Shore. It offers stunning waterfront views, open skies, and a peaceful, romantic atmosphere that’s perfect for popping the big question. Not to mention the Bay Bridge in the background.
