There’s nothing quite like stepping into a family’s home to document the pure, fleeting moments of a newborn’s early days. As a Frederick Maryland newborn photographer, I had the absolute privilege of photographing the sweet bond between big sister Taylor and her new little sister, Savannah. Taylor is already proving to be the best big sister—her love for Savannah shines in every hug and gentle touch.

The session took place in Michelle’s beautifully crafted home. Every corner of her space radiates warmth and comfort, making it the perfect backdrop for these intimate moments. While I could have stayed talking and fawning over this family for hours, life with a toddler and newborn is busy, and I had to let them return to their routine. Still, the joy and love they shared lingered long after I left.
