Life has a funny way of bringing people together, and I feel so fortunate to be able to document these beautiful connections as a Maryland family photographer.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting or seeing Megan’s gorgeous work from Blooming Occasions, you know exactly why she’s more than just a floral crown champion. She’s a boss queen, a fabulous momma, wife, daughter, and truly, an all-star in every sense of the word. Her talent as a floral designer is matched only by her heart of gold and the genuine love she pours into others.

For years, I admired her work from afar. Her stunning florals have graced countless weddings, events, and celebrations, and I dreamed of the day I’d be lucky enough to capture her masterpieces through my lens. Little did I know that one day, I’d not only have the privilege of photographing her creations, but that our lives would intersect in such a beautiful, unexpected way.

Fast forward, and now our kids are friends, and we find ourselves catching up over coffee—laughing and trying to get a word in between all the chaos that comes with having little ones. It’s in those moments, surrounded by the beauty of friendship and life’s little surprises, that I’m reminded of the joy of being a Maryland family photographer.
