Wedding season is officially here, and I couldn’t have asked for a better kickoff than Kelly and Nick’s beautiful day! As a Hagerstown wedding photographer, there’s something so special about stepping back into the whirlwind of love, laughter, and organized chaos after a quiet winter break.

Every year, those first-wedding-day jitters sneak back in—but just like riding a bike, everything clicks the moment I start shooting. My loud, slightly bossy voice returns (did it ever really leave? 😉), I’m still misting up behind the camera during vows, and yes, I’m once again the unofficial boutonnière pinner, emergency snack dealer, and hype girl rolled into one.

This new wedding season brings fresh stories and faces, but some things stay the same—like my love for capturing candid, joy-filled moments and making sure my couples feel relaxed and supported from start to finish. A little more refined, a little less bendy (those low squats are getting real), but still showing up with all the heart.
