A few weeks ago I met up with Alyssa and Nick for their Frederick Waterfront Engagement session! It was the most gorgeous evening with a beautiful sunset. We had to reschedule due to some sickness and I’m so glad because the weather for the original date was not as amazing as it was on this summer evening. The sand felt warm on our toes and the sun was just glowing over the horizon.
The most fun part about this engagement session was that Nick is one of my past brides brothers! I am excited for their wedding day to reunite with the family and see everyone again. It is such a big honor to be welcomed back into such an intimate and big day of peoples lives. I truly LOVE my job and do not take anything for granted when it comes to return clients.
If you’re familiar with photography, you will have heard about “golden hour.” This is about 1 hour before sunset when the light is just magical and dreamy. Sometimes this doesn’t always work out if it’s a cloudy day or if there are mountains or foreign objects blocking the sun from hitting a specific destination. But, the sun on this evening was absolutely phenomenal and I’m so glad that we got to experience it for Alyssa and Nick’s Frederick Waterfront Engagement Session.
