Fiona and David’s wedding day was my first one of 2019 and it was the perfect way to kick off the season. After some huge rainstorms and tornado warnings graced the eastern shore area on Friday, we were blessed with the most gorgeous, breezy and sunshine filled day on Saturday! I traveled down to Delmar, MD to shoot their wedding on a private estate and it was an amazing day from start to finish.
Fiona and David met in 7th grade, but didn’t start to date until they were both in college. Their friends and family had actually been plotting to get the two of them together for some time! Little did David know, Fiona had a secret crush on him over all this time. It all made sense when they finally got together and David schemed together their families to participate in a sweet proposal with quotes and movie lines that were special to them both.
After they were pronounced husband and wife, they were toasted by family and friends with some of the most hilarious speeches I’ve heard and were surrounded with love and laughter from start to finish. We snuck out for sunset photos and it was one of my favorite parts of the day! I love when my couples are even more excited than me for gorgeous photos and are willing to part from their reception for 15 minutes to capture some of the most romantic portraits of the day. These two literally walked off into the sunset together as husband and wife and it couldn’t have been more perfect of a day! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw!!
