Maggie and Stephen are married! They hosted an incredible eastern shore coastal wedding right off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for their guests. It was filled with lots of shrimp, crab, driftwood, seashells and many hues of blue. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is one of my all time favorite venues. From stunning views to of the water and amazing food and service, it is a sight to check out.
One of my favorite details of the day was the flower baskets that Maggie had for her bridesmaids. The rattan bags were such a special touch and really pulled the vision together with the blues, whites and shore vibes. These were the perfect compliment to Maggie’s classic gown and floral printed dresses.
During the reception, with his new wife by his side, Stephen greeted his wedding guests with a speech about family and stated he grew up with a family who genuinely wants to hang out together and was joining a family with the same values. He worded it a lot more eloquently than me, but I got full body chills when he mentioned he was blessed because he simply didn’t know a world where families fight and are broken until he grew up. To know Maggie and Stephen is to WANT to be around them. What an incredible legacy these two and their families live as an example of a Godly life to and for others.
