Lately I’ve been shooting ALL of the maternity sessions and it is making my heart burst wide open! The best part of all of these sessions has been reconnecting with my clients. I could talk for hours and hours with them all and never get bored. A few days ago I got to see my sweet bride and groom from last August, Jenna and Lamar. They are expecting a sweet baby boy in a few months so we captured some memories of this special season at Cowan’s Gap last week.

These two are having such a big year by not only welcoming a new family member, but they also just closed on their first home. I am so excited for them and their future and know that they will be such dedicated and loving parents.  I mean Lamar even painted Jenna’s toes for her sandals!

We have been blessed with some absolutely stunning warm pink sunsets around here lately. I’m so glad that they decide to come out when I’m capturing clients. Pennsylvania will always have my heart with its blue mountains, greenery, and stunning views. These locations never cease to bring me joy. I love that Cowan’s Gap is so close to me. Not only can we enjoy it for photos, but walking, camping, hiking, swimming and so much more. I would prefer to shoot in nature than some fancy castle background. The colors just get me.

Jenna & Lamar – Thank you for trusting me with your engagement, wedding and now maternity portraits. It is such an honor to watch my clients through all of the different seasons of life and I absolutely adore watching brides and groom transfer their titles to Mom and Dad.
