My 2024 season started out with the most beautiful April weather as a Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding photographer with Claire and Danny. It is amazing to feel sunlight grace your skin after long winter days of cold. These Florida natives came up to the Eastern Shore to celebrate their big day with family and friends and I will be thinking about this one for a long time.

I was so happy that the weather turned out amazing versus their engagement session. We explored downtown Annapolis in January and it was snowy and COLD! What a relief to have the most beautiful and breezy day.

These two got married at a church earlier in the day and had so much time afterwards to actually BE together. I loved it so much! They were able to enjoy a mini celebration before their cocktail even started with their closest family and friends. They shared champagne overlooking the bay and waves and the light breeze was just the perfect addition to their waterfront day.

One of my absolute favorite parts of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is the sunset there. They have one of the only venues on the east coast where the sun sets over the water. It is a gorgeous sight to see with the Bay Bridge in the background. The sunset for Claire and Danny’s wedding was no exception. The sun was orange and your skin was filled with warmth.
