This sweet family spends so many of their summer evenings right by their backyard pool, making memories together. So what better way to document their story than a storytelling session centered around splashing, bubbles, and poolside drinks? From the moment I arrived, it felt less like a photoshoot and more like a summer party. There were all giggles, the water was everywhere, and their bond was just undeniable.

This session was the perfect reminder that your family photos don’t need to be posed or perfectly styled to be meaningful. We focused on their everyday moments; the ones that will mean the most years from now. The popsicles melting onto little hands, the watermelon slices lined up along the pool’s edge, the belly laughs mid-cannonball. All those simple joys? Documented forever.

That’s what my storytelling sessions are all about.
