There’s something truly magical about an engagement session in Downtown Annapolis—especially during golden hour. When Daniella and Brian reached out about their engagement photos, I knew we were in for an amazing time. Their infectious laughter and effortless connection made every moment feel natural, and even when a festival threw a little curveball into our plans, we turned it into an opportunity to get creative. We kicked things off at the waterfront, where the sun cast a warm, golden glow over the docks. While our usual go-to spots were bustling with festival-goers, we found a quiet little dock that turned out to be the perfect setting for some intimate, romantic portraits. The way the sunlight danced on the water, paired with Daniella and Brian’s playful energy, made for some truly stunning shots.

After soaking up the beauty of the harbor, we wandered through the charming streets of Downtown Annapolis. Every corner of this historic city has its own character, from vibrant murals to cobblestone alleys that feel like they’re straight out of a storybook. Dani and Brian embraced the adventure, laughing as we explored hidden gems and found the most picturesque backdrops.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is capturing the couple’s unique dynamic, and these two made it easy. They were completely at ease with one another—whether wrapped in a quiet moment or cracking up over an inside joke. Their joy was contagious, and by the end of the session, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much behind the camera.
